A Tribute to Great…Great Grandma and Grandpa MochaCocoa: An Accurate Enough (Brief) History of the Human Species

Just earlier this week I had a disturbing epiphany in regards to my large, incredibly full and not-to-mention tangled family history. The true human race is in jeopardy!  That’s it.  Jeopardy!   Even more so than any other “offshoot” who took up residence in some alien corner of the globe; MUTATED accordingly to better survive the new and I’ll bet strange climate and landscape; and then ultimately suffered a combination of what can only be called mass arrogance, forgetfulness as well as “cocoamocha phobia,” the true human race has remained perhaps the most disadvantaged, disrespected and under-appreciated!  I must say, even after all the progress and enlightenment you would think the human race has since been through from the dawn of the hominids (walking, upright apes) to the modern era, a great percentage of us still (secretly) have a real problem with the true, or shall I say “original human.”

I was talking about THE BLACK MAN!

Throughout many cultures there is often an erroneous belief as to where the population truly came from.  Adolf Hitler supposedly imagined an “Arian cradle of civilization” somewhere near the Rhineland.  The Japanese and English  – after a weak emphasis on their more recent stop off immigration points – claimed to have WON their ancestral homelands through glorious warfare or The Divine Wind.  However, if you were to somehow trace everybody’s family history, over thousands and thousands upon THOUSANDS of years, you would find that we are all in fact long lost refugees of The Dark Continent.  Africa!  (Yes.  You heard me proper.)  So, in other words, regardless of whatever “master race” or “racially pure” legends you so choose to buy into, we are ALL Africans!  We are ALL Negroes!  (We are all black….)

(See diagram below.)

There was an allegation that Malcolm X once said that the white man was a product of the repeated breeding – and inbreeding – of countless pure blooded black people from long long ago.  Through the endless intercourse between racially dissolved partners, and over numerous generations passing through alien lands, the better preserved Negroes had finally seen the emergence of their lighter-skinned alien offspring.  Finally, on a truly bizarre and unprecedented birthday, a little honky was born!  (White person.)  Fortunately for a quarter of us, his parents didn’t slaughter him…! And thus, from that day forth, the original black race became an increasingly smaller as well as powerless minority.   The world soon became infested with “little white devils!”  (Hostile Caucasians.)

While I have noticed some racism and hypocrisy here – assuming Malcolm X really did say that – he may have still been at least partly right!  Of all the other races in the world (or at least the other skin tones), the Negroes really are God’s original people; it really was a slice of the Negro population who got lost, wandered “out of Africa,” and then eventually adapted and gave rise, either directly or indirectly, to the remainder of the human species.  The suspected route is now considered to be Israel and the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt.

With a smaller and less genetically diverse population after being cut off from the African motherland, it IS possible that a little inbreeding DID take place!  Compounded with new and strange surroundings, which must have no doubt differed from the old jungles and balmy savannas of home sweet Saharan and Sub-Saharan Africa, the tribes who had ventured forth must have taken on all kinds of new and strange characteristics.  There emerged different shades of skin, at times lighter eye color, new and strange forms of hair textures and hair color, various body types, and not to mention a rainbow of new and possibly never before seen facial features which bore little or no resemblance to “Great…Great Grandma and Great…Great Grandpa MochaCocoa.”  (Ellipses used in place of the word “great” a thousand or more times.)  All this from a minute percentage of an African population which to this day, despite how homogeneous and “inferior” they may seem on the outside, still have more colorful and diverse DNA than any other group on the planet! Little white devil be warned…!

And now back to present day, nobody seems to remember that we ALL have a bit of The Black Man in us.  Africa remains one of the poorest, most backward and most disenfranchised regions on the planet. As the more developed world – from the time of 1800s European Imperialism onward – continues to exploit the African and Negro for their labor, their resources, their weak and disorganized governments, and their lack of true continental pride or unity, The Black Man continues to struggle with increased shame, insecurity and alienation.

Outside of Africa, and in The New World, things have fared little better for the Negro immigrant.  Despite his tremendous contributions to North and South American agriculture, mining, heavy industry and the military – often times through immoral deportation and brutality and against his will – and despite the fact that he continues to be one of the biggest patrons of green and echo friendly mass transit throughout the United States, he continues to also be under appreciated, disrespected and neglected by his mutated “genetic bottleneck” cousins; he continues to be the most forgotten in government social and economic stimulus plans (with the exception of school vouchers and dead end relief payments); he continues to be the least likely to go to college or higher education, the least likely to later succeed in the American mainstream, however, he continues to be among the most likely to occupy jails, prisons and relief shelters, and the most likely to hold some of the highest statistics for neighborhood gang related deaths and violence.  He also remains one of the biggest targets for the temptations of substance abuse and unsafe sex practices and family planning.  Yet he is also perhaps the best representative of the original human as well as dawn of mankind!

He is your cousin for God’s sake!

Great…Great Grandma and Grandpa MochaCocoa would be displeased.  May the whole world champion a revival and rejuvenation of Mother Africa!
